Since the election, Presidential-Aspirant Joe Biden has triumphantly confirmed that he intends to Elect A New People by not only undoing President Trump’s semi-tough immigration measures but also by flooding the country with refugees and legal immigrants plus Amnestying every illegal alien stashed away in every trailer park he can pinpoint with Google Earth. His arrogance should make immigration patriotism a key issue in the two January 5, 2021 U.S. Senate runoffs in Georgia, which will determine whether the GOP retains a Senate majority or whether, as Senate Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer puts it, “Now we take Georgia, then we change America!” [The GOP’s Georgia boogeyman: Chuck Schumer, by Marc Caputo and James Arkin, November 11, 2020]
The GOP must win at least one of those runoffs if Biden goes to the White House. Victory in Alaska has given the GOP a 50-48 margin, but losing both seats in Georgia would mean a Vice President Kamala Harris would provide the 51st vote for the Treason Party.
Winning both, of course, would be better. One never knows when a Stupid Party hack will defect to the enemy. Both seats provide a margin of error in case that happens.
Now to the Peach-State political fight …
For immigration patriots, the runoffs are about the same. In the one, GOP Sen. David Perdue nearly topped the 50 percent threshold he needed to beat hard-Left Democrat Jon Ossoff, but fell just short.
Perdue is one of the better GOP senators on immigration (not a hot competition). He is one of only three senators to sponsor the RAISE Act, which would halve legal immigration and was endorsed by Trump (although he subsequently wavered). NumbersUSA gives Perdue a career B+. He doesn’t have a higher grade because he supports some guest-worker programs and failed to sign the Senate letter in support of Trump extending and expanding his immigration moratorium. Both of his RAISE Act co-sponsors signed the letter.
Still, Perdue has been a firm Trump ally and far preferable to Democrat opponent Ossoff, a Leftist smarty-pants from Central Casting. He was Rep. Hank Johnson’s national security staffer, which means we have to wonder whether he gave Johnson the idea that Guam might capsize if we sent too many U.S Marines there. Ossoff sounds moderate on immigration—he says our country “must know and control who crosses our borders,” and that he supports “an immigration policy that strengthens our borders, puts American workers first.” But, like all modern Democrats, as a practical matter he supports Open Borders. He believes American identity depends on acting “as a haven for people fleeing persecution and striving for opportunity.” His platform endorses Amnesty, which prioritizes foreign lawbreakers, not American workers.
Granted, he’s not quite as crazy as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. But he’ll reliably support any plan to import more Democrat voters.
The other race offers a similar choice. GOP Sen. Kelly Loeffler edged much stronger immigration patriot Rep. Doug Collins in the first round, and she isn’t as sound as either Collins or Perdue. But she’s certainly better than the alternative, Democrat black pastor Raphael Warnock.
Though Loeffler’s megadonor husband, Jeffrey Sprecher, wants more immigration, she has shown signs of seeing the light when feeling the heat. Her website says she supports a border wall, increased deportations, and “completely reforming America’s legal immigration system.” That last is ambiguous, but similar to what congressional immigration patriots say in demanding reduced immigration. Last summer, she co-sponsored a bill with immigration patriot Senator Tom Cotton that would increase the power of immigration courts to punish aliens who skip trial dates and clear up case backlogs [Loeffler, Cotton introduce ICE Act immigration legislation, AlbanyHerald.com, August 6, 2020].
In contrast, Democrat Warnock openly supports Amnesty [Beyond the Podium with US Senate candidate Reverend Raphael Warnock, by Haley Garrett, Fox24, October 22, 2020]. He said that Trump’s immigration policies make the president “a willfully ignorant, racist, xenophobic, narcissistic con man” [At two of the nation’s most historic black churches, sermons reflect on Martin Luther King and take sharp aim at Trump, by Jaweed Kaleem, Cindy Chang and Jenny Jarvie, Los Angeles Times, January 14, 2018].
Here’s a rundown of Sleepy Joe’s plan, all of it available at his website, for the America in which your kids will grow up:
- He will reinstitute DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) for illegal aliens who came to the U.S. as minors and a 100-day deportation freeze
- He will send a mass Amnesty bill to Congress within his first 100 days.
- He will send more tax subsidies to the so-called “relief agencies” that bring more refugees into the country.
- He will end Trump’s public-charge rule that forbids importing indigents who can’t support themselves.
- He will stop building the border wall.

And that’s only the short list.
Georgia will determine who controls the Senate, and in turn, who controls immigration legislation [On Immigration, Biden’s Biggest Promises Likely Hinge On Who Controls The Senate, by Joel Rose, NPR, November 9, 2020].
If Trump’s challenge to the Great Election Heist of 2020 fails, or if he gives up and concedes, the only thing standing between the Historic American Nation and complete dispossession is a Republican-controlled Senate.
Significantly, the Georgia GOP appears to get it. Last summer, the state party endorsed a full immigration moratorium to protect jobs after the hysterical and unnecessary response to the Flu Manchu. Before Trump, that idea would have gone nowhere [Georgia GOP Urges for Full Immigration Moratorium with Millions Jobless, by John Binder, Breitbart, June 16, 2020].
Immigration isn’t the only identity issue in play, however.
Black Lives Matter and racial issues are others. Ossoff and Warnock support BLM and radical bills to undermine police and proper voting laws [Raphael Warnock on his Senate runoff race, by Curtis Bunn, NBC News, November 7, 2020; Jon Ossoff campaigns for Senate race despite pandemic setback, Megan Mittelhammer, The Red & Black, September 11, 2020].
In contrast, and unlike most of the GOP, Loeffler openly criticizes BLM. “This is a very divisive organization based on Marxist principles,” she said in July:
This week, they threatened to burn the system down, literally and figuratively, if they don’t get what they want. This is an organization that seeks to destroy American principles, and I had to draw the line.
The WNBA team she owns protested, but she didn’t back down, demonstrating courage lacking in other Establishment GOP figures [Sen. Kelly Loeffler continues to rip Black Lives Matter, says she won’t sell stake in WNBA team, by Des Bieler, The Washington Post, July 10, 2020].
That aside, the obvious question: Why is Georgia turning blue?
Answer: Demography is destiny.
In 1980, the state was nearly 72 percent white. Now, it’s just 60 percent white. In 1980, the Asian and Hispanic shares of the population were negligible. Today, both groups combined account for over 14 percent of the state’s population. The state’s foreign-born population stands at 10.1%.
And not all that demographic change is immigration. The black share of the population has also increased from 26.5 percent in 1980 to nearly 33 percent today. Reverse black migration to Georgia is credited with the state’s purple status. The state’s growing liberal white transplants are wrecking it, too. Trump’s support among the white vote dropped from 75% in 2016 to 69% in 2020) likely due to this demographic.
Those numbers explain why both Senate seats are in danger, and why Georgia could easily become blue like Virginia if the GOP does nothing to curb immigration and voter fraud. A double win for Ossoff and Warnock could spell the end of the GOP in the state, and following that, the nation. The effects will be all the worse if Trump loses.
The chances for Amnesty still look slim with a Senate that would only be Democrat by virtue of a vice presidential tiebreaker, but that’s still cold comfort to immigration patriots. A dual loss in Georgia could potentially scare the party into embracing stupid ideas and bending the knee for Biden. Lindsey Grahamnesty is already living up to his name, perhaps anticipating a post-Trump world. Much to conservatives’ dismay, he wants to find “common ground” with Biden on immigration.
The best if unlikeliest of all possible worlds is a sweep: Trump in the White House, and Loeffler and Perdue in the Senate. The senators would be reliable votes for his immigration agenda. They’ll vote to fund the wall, defund sanctuary cities, and cut down chain migration. And even if Trump loses, they will oppose Biden.
Upshot: No matter who hears Hail to the Chief in January, an immigration patriot must, again, win one of those seats.
